PH is currently a paid site, but still my favorite board ever.

  • 1/2 cup butter flavored shortening

  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • pinch salt
  • 1/3 cup soymilk
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Measure everything into a medium sized bowl. Using a wooden spoon or even a fork, start mixing and mashing everything together. It will be a little bit of work. Continue to mix, smashing the shortening into the sugar, and smoothing the milk into the bits of shortening. Stir and Stir and Stir. Soon it will become a rich chocolate mass. Spread on a cooled cake. Makes enough to frost a large rectangular cake, or 24 cupcakes.

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.  Use hospitality one to another without grudging.  As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.--1 Peter 4:8-10
