Easy Ranch Style Dressing or Dip

  • 1 /4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup vegan sour cream, store-bought or homemade
  • 1 tablespoon soymilk to thin for dressing consistency; omit for dip
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Dash EACH salt, black pepper & ground red pepper

Combine the mayonnaise and casein-free sour cream in a small bowl. Use a fork or small wire whisk. If you're making salad dressing then also add the soymilk. If you're making a dip for vegetables or chips then leave out the soymilk. It doesn't affect the flavor at all, just the consistency. Measure all of the seasonings and dump them in with the mayo and sour cream. Whisk until all the seasonings are evenly distributed. Chill until serving time. This keeps several days in the refrigerator. Makes about 1/2-cup.

And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.  Use hospitality one to another without grudging.  As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.--1 Peter 4:8-10
