GFCF Means
Gluten Free & Casein Free

Light Thousand Island Dressing

  • 3/4 cup light mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Combine all of the ingredients in a 10-ounce or larger container. Small, clean, empty ketchup and mustard bottles are ideal. This is the best Thousand Island I've ever tasted. Better than the gourmet brand I once tried at a picnic. Makes a little over 1-cup, or 9 servings; 2-tablespoons each.

Per Serving (excluding unknown items): 63 Calories; 4g Fat (53.1% calories from fat); trace Protein; 8g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 7mg Cholesterol; 305mg Sodium.  Exchanges: 0 Grain(Starch); 0 Lean Meat; 1 Fat; 1/2 Other Carbohydrates.

If you use regular mayonnais instead of light then the nutritional data changes to the following:

Per Serving (excluding unknown items): 148 Calories; 16g Fat (88.3% calories from fat); trace Protein; 4g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 6mg Cholesterol; 310mg Sodium.  Exchanges: 0 Grain(Starch); 0 Lean Meat; 1 1/2 Fat; 1/2 Other Carbohydrates.

Proverbs 31:27  She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
