Fruit Juice Soda PopFruit Juice Soda Pop

Ingredients

  • 12 ounce can fruit juice concentrate, either frozen or canned
  • 1 liter Club Soda
  • Pitcher, Ice & stirring stick

Directions

If the fruit juice concentrate is frozen, then allow it to melt before preparing this recipe. You can do this in the refrigerator overnight or on the counter for a few hours.

You may use any flavor of juice. Purple Grape juice is especially good prepared this way. Pour the liquid fruit juice concentrate into a 2-quart pitcher. Pour in 1 liter of Club Soda (chilled if possible). Do not use Tonic Water, be sure to buy only plain Club Soda. Use your stick to gently stir the soda and fruit juice together. Pour over tall glasses of ice and serve with a straw. Kids love this and even little ones can help stir.

This recipe is good for kids parties and sleepovers. Lots of kids are accustomed to having soda pop all the time and they may think it’s weird to be at a party without soda pop. This recipe is a healthy alternative that is kid-friendly and doesn’t make your kid seem weird for eating or drinking foods that are different from the norm.

Leftovers can be poured into popsicle molds and frozen.
